Mojo 194 inspiration

June is birthday month in my family, and also with friends.  So this month I need to create lots of birthday cards!  This card is from the Mojo Monday card sketch 194.  Sometimes the best thing in making a card is to go into Blogland and find a layout to get started.  The layout was a breeze, but I fiddled with it until I was happy.  It is a very simple design, and I guess that today I am more in the mood for less than simple! (Someone should warn my husband.) Take a look!

It almost qualifies for a vintage look, no?  How'd that happen?  Me and vintage...we cross paths rarely.  But this...this may be vintage.  Sponging, "stitching," ribbon, pearls...what do you think?
My "stitching" is kidiwampus, but that ain't any different than my real stitching, so I'm going to call it  "authentic" rather than kidiwampus. :-)

A couple of the items on the card are going to become unavailable on July 1.  They are part of the Stampin' Up! retirement items.  If you like the ribbon or the DSP I used, click here and order yourself some right now!  Then come back on July 1st and order the stamp set!  It was in the Occasions Mini, but I have a strong feeling (wink, wink) that it might be available again on July 1.  Know what I'm saying?  Here's everything I used...
Recipe:
Stamp set: Bring on the Cake
Paper: Concord Crush, Pretty in Pink, Lap of Luxury DSP
Ink: Concord Crush, White Gel pen, Vanilla Craft
Accessories: Blushing Bride Poly twill ribbon, Basic Pearls, Beautiful Wings Embosslit
Tools: 2 3/8" scallop circle punch, 1 3/4" circle punch, 1" circle punch and Circle Scissor, Big Shot, Sponge, Mini Glue dots, Dimensionals

Don't forget about my Virtual Card Class.
